Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications

Branch council meeting on the labor conditions took place in the Ministry of Transport today. During the meeting an analysis was made regarding the activities which ensured healthy and safety work conditions in the year 2005. An annual report concerning the implementation of the investment programs for improving the labor conditions in the transport companies and firms during the year 2005 and also in reference to 2006 has been given.

During the meeting Rosen Zdravkov was appointed as a deputy chairman of OSUT. He is president of the transport workers federation “Podkrepa”. According to the statute of OSUT, the election of deputy chairman follows the rotary principle. Hitherto Georgi Georgiev, deputy president of the Bulgaria Transport Syndicate Association, occupied this post.
