The Bulgarian Driving Licenses will be accepted from today in Greece, as the Minister of Transport and Communication of the Republic of Greece Michalis Ljapis declared during the press conference in the Bulgarian Ministry of Transport. In this way the Bulgarian citizens, permanent residents in Greece, will be able to get a Greek driving license without having to take an examination. The Greek Minister of Transport is on a one day work-visit in our country, at the invitation of his Bulgarian colleague Peter Mutafchiev.
Peter Mutafchiev, from his side, said that Bulgaria will accept the Greek offer to start negotiations regarding the liberalization of the bus transportations. Up to three weeks a workgroup of experts will be set up, to determine the conditions and terms this liberalization to be done. Michalis Ljapis drew attention to the Greek intention to liberalize the bus transportations as soon as possible, because of the traffic growth between two countries, without waiting of the date January 1st 2007,.
We want you, to be beside us, in this big family, as soon as possible, and together to be able to open the roads of the cooperation on the Balkan Peninsula, he also said.
