Today, in the resort Albena finished the 39^th European football Competition for ATC controllers. For the first time this year, Bulgaria is a host of the championship, whose tradition begins long ago in the year 1968.

48 teams from 30 countries met on the football field.

The united team of Island and Stavanger (Norway) got the fair play cup; the spirit cup went to the team of Dublin (Ireland), and plate to Lisbon (Portugal). The final became a great challenge for the two teams and finished after execution of penalty kicks. Winner is the team of Brest (France), on the second place remained Kiev (Ukraine), and the prestigious third place has Norway. Bulgaria finished 41^st.  

The participants in the tournament receive a greeting from Minister Mutafchiev. The winners obtained besides the cup the plaque of the Ministry of Transport.

In the year 2007 the championship will take place in Amsterdam (Holland) and in 2008 on the island Madeira (Portugal).
