According to the expectation, Rumania will Remove the increased fees for traffic control and navigation safety of the ferryboat complexes Vidin – Kalafat and Oriahovo – Beket till the middle of the month. The problem dates from the beginning of 2007, after the decision of the Rumanian side to gather independently these charges.

These actions are result of the insistence of the Ministry of Transport for urgent solution of the problem with the high rates of the two ferryboat complexes. The Bulgarian side undertook immediately a series of actions and intensive contacts with the responsible authorities in our north neighbour country.

The Rumanian experts are assuring that the new order will come into force up to March 10-15, 2007, after it’s publication in the State Newspaper.
