Minister Mutafchiev on a Work Visit in Slovenia 08.05.2007

The Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev is on one day work visit in Slovenia. He met there his Slovenian Colleague Janez Bojic.

The two ministers discussed the relations in the automobile transport. An agreement for the exchange of 300 licenses from and to third countries was negotiated. Subject of the talks was also the development of the air transport between the two countries and the possibility for opening of a direct airline Sofia - Ljubljana, as well as the positions for the advance of the pan-European corridor X. The interaction between the Slovenian port Khoper and the Bulgarian ports Varna and Burgas was also demonstrated on the meeting.

Minister Mutafchiev and Minister Bojic came to an agreement, workgroups on transport to be created. As soon as possible the workgroups on automobile and railway transport, as well as on European matters will gather together, in order to coordinate and to strengthen the cooperation between the both ministries and to build common positions on all questions they are faced with.
