Minister Mutafchiev will give the rewards to the children from School 6 “Graf Ignatiev”, who drew to the theme “Me on the Road”. The feast will take place on June 1st, 2007, at 11 o’clock in the Ministry of Transport.
“Bulgarian Posts” LTD printed two of the paintings in the form of postcards – total print 20 000. They will be distributed free of charge in all post offices in the country. This is one of the “Bulgarian posts” engagements, in connection with the European Charter for road safety. We would like to remind you that the Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev and the Minister of Interior Rumen Petkov in the presence of Sergei Stanishev started on April 23, 2007 the Bulgarian Initiative “Save Life” and also presented the European Road safety Charter. The goal of the Charter is, on the principle of the common responsibility to consolidate the efforts of the civil society – governmental and non-governmental organizations, schools and universities, industrial organizations associations, towns, media and persons. The objective is everybody, according to their possibilities and competencies, to contribute for the improvement of the road safety in the European Union. More than 80 firms and organization have joined the European Road Safety Charter with concrete engagements.
