Minister Mutafchiev Will Visit Burgas 28.06.2007

The Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev will visit Burgas. He will attend the official opening of the new passenger’s Terminal 3 of Burgas Airport, as well as the celebration – 60 Years Bulgarian Civil Aviation. The Event will take place at 12 o’clock. On this day in the year 1947 the first regular airline in the country – Burgas – Varna has been started.

The Building of Terminal 3 is part of the investment program of the concessionaire “Fraport Twinstar Airport Management” for immediate improvements in the airport services in the present season.

Prior to this Minister Mutafchiev will participate in the public discussion of the project for creation of a transport junction – railway station, port and bus station in Burgas. The meeting will take place at 10 o’clock in the Municipality building.

The program of Minister Peter Mutafchiev will finish with a meeting with the mayors of Pomorie, Ahtopol and Tsarevo. Ground for the meeting is the Ministers Council resolution regarding the giving up the ports to be managed by the municipalities of Pomorie, Ahtopol and Tsarevo. During the talks the projects for their development as yacht-ports will be discussed. The meeting will take place at 14.00 o’clock in “Balneohotel Pomorie”
