Three Infrastructural Contracts Were Signed Today in the System of Transport 05.09.2007

Three infrastructural contracts for building and technical aid were signed today in the presence of the Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev. The two contracts are on the project "Reconstruction and Modernization of Railway Line Plovdiv - Svilengrad - Turkish/Greek Boundary and optimization of the sector for 160 km per hour speed", namely contract for building, railway road and electrification of Phase 2 Parvomay - Svilengrad - on the Turkish and Greek boundary, as well as contract for building of signalization systems, telecommunications and SCADA for the whole line. The third contract is for "Technical Aid for the Modernization of the Railway Line "Vidin - Sofia".

  • The contract for the building, the railway road was signed by the company representative, which won the competition - "ASTALDI" Italy, Pier Luka Kanino. The value of the contract is 162 537388.06 Euro with a duration 39 months.
  • The contract for building of signalizations systems, telecommunications and SCADA for the whole line were signed by Engineer Doctor Alfred Faider, Director Executive of Tales Rail Signaling Solutions" Austria in consortium with "Alkatel- Lucent" Rumania. The Duration of the contract is 37 months with the value 35557047.06 Euro.
  • The technical aid contract for the railway line Vidin - Sofia was signed by the Head of the Consortium, with leading partner Iberica de Estudios e Ingenieria, S.A. (IBERINSA) Victor Relano. Members of the consortium are ILF BERATENDE INGENIEURE ZT GmbH (ILF Consulting Engineers), INGENIERIA Y ECONOMIA DEL TRANSPORTE, S.A. (INECO), "Transsystem" Ltd and "Geotechengineering" Ltd. The time for the accomplishment is 34 months and the value 3350000 Euro.

All contracts were signed from side of the Ministry of transport by the Deputy Minister Vesela Gospodinova.
