The Minister of Transport Will Participate in the 23 World Road Congress 15.09.2007

The Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev will participate in the minister's session of the 23 World Road Congress. The forum will take place on September 17, 2007 in Paris, under the patronage of the World Road Association. Minister Mutafchiev has been invited by the Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Planning of France - Jean-Louis Borloo

During the minister's conference, as expected, the debate will take place within the mainframe of three round table discussions: environment protection, reasonable development and financing of the infrastructure, stimulation of the manufacturers and users in order to modernize the automobile fleet.  

Minister Mutafchiev will participate in the work of the round table 1: "Road Usage Price-formation as policy instrument for environment protection", together with the ministers of Andorra, Angola, and Azerbaijan, Quebec - Canada, Gabon, Guatemala, India, Japan, Luxembourg, Madagascar, Holland, Norway, Togo and Great Britain.

On the next day Minister Mutafchiev will visit Brussels. He will met there Matthias Ruete - Head of Directorate-General for Energy and Transport of EC.
