The Contracts for the Adjoining Infrastructure of Danube Bridge 2 Will Be Signed Tomorrow 25.10.2007

The contracts for building and building supervision of the adjoining road and railway infrastructure of the new bridge over the river Danube near Vidin Kalafat will be signed tomorrow, October 26th, 2007. The ceremony will take place at 10am in the conference hall of the Ministry of Transport.

The adjoining infrastructure includes:

• A new freight railway station;
• Reconstruction of the existing passengers railway station;
• Seven kilometers of new electrified line;
• Road junction to the new bridge;
• Building of five road junctions of two levels.

It will accomplish the connection between the republican road and railway transports networks with the new facility.
