The Need of Staff with University Education in the Railway Sector Will Be Discussed in the Ministry of Transport 19.11.2007

A Meeting will take place in the Ministry of Transport which will discusse the theme "The Need of University Educated Staff in the System of the Railway Transport up to 2013". Representatives of the Executive Agency "Railway Administration" and NC "Railway Infrastructure", the railway carriers "BDZ" EAD "Bulgarian Railway Company" and "Bulmarket", as well as high schools with transport subjects, representatives of the syndicates. The discussion will take place tomorrow November 20th, at 10 am, in the conference hall of the Ministry of Transport.

During the meeting the participants will discusse the programs of EA "Railway Administration" targeting the increase of the professional qualification and prequalification of the employees, for language education and the trainee program.

The railway companies will present a Memorandum for education- and trainee programs together with the Universities, as well as contract projects for scholarship students.

Representatives of the high schools will present their studying plans on the subjects connected with the railway transport.

The main accent will be the preparation of a schedule for the activities regarding the tuition and the providing of personnel for the railway transport system.
