The Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev dismissed the Director-Executive of "Airport Plovdiv" EAD Plamen Nikolov. The Minister changed also the number of the Director's Council of the Company from three to five persons due to its consolidation with the "Airport Burgas" EOOD and "Airport Varna" EOOD.

After the signed concession contracts for the management of the airports in Varna and Burgas, the state airport operators "Airport Burgas" EOOD and "Airport Varna" EOOD discontinued their activity. Their assets have been infused into the assets of "Airport Plovdiv" EAD.

The new members of the Director's Council of "Airport Plovdiv" EAD are Janko Jankov, Boshidar Malinov, and Iren Toneva. The Director's Council chose Janko Jankov as the new Director Executive of "Airport Plovdiv" EAD.

Janko Jankov has been Director-Executive of "Airport Varna" EOOD and also Director of Directorate in the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

Iren Toneva is Chief-Expert in the Directorate "Control upon the Activities of the Commercial Associations" in the Ministry of Transport.

Boshidar Malinov is an economist.
