Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications

The mixed inter-governmental Bulgarian-Rumanian workgroup carried out a sitting in the Ministry of Transport  in order to discuss the administrative structure which will manage, utilize and maintain the bridge over the river Danube near Vidin-Kalafat.

Representative of the EC - General Directorate "Regional Policy" also attended the meeting. The session was guided by the Deputy Minister of Transport Vesela Gospodinova together with the State Secretary of the Rumanian Ministry of Transport Septimiu Buzashu.

The sitting finished with the signing of a bilateral protocol regarding the common principles for the foundation of the future corporative structure for the management of the bridge. Also discussed was the progress of the project advance and also the measures which to be taken in order to start the building of the bridge in the middle of April 2008.
