The results from the first stage of the competition for logo and slogan of the OP "Transport" will be announced tomorrow, January 31, 2008, at 10 am in the press club "Sofia Press", "Slavyanska" 29. The selected offers on the first stage will be presented by the Deputy Minister of Transport Vesela Gospodinova and the Director of Directorate "Coordination of Programs and Projects" Nelly Yordanova. The competition started on December 6th 2007 with reward fund of 10 000 levs. An independent commission, including representatives of the mass media, as well as well-known personalities from the field of the pictorial arts examined the projects, introduced till January10, 2008. The Jury selected three offers for logo and three offers for slogan, which are matching the requirements of the competition. At the second stage a commission of the Ministry of Transport will rank the selected offers - first, second and third place. Also foreseen is a prize for the audience. Every citizen has the possibility to vote on the internet page of the Ministry of Transport http://www.mt.government.bg/, starting on February 1st 2008. The Competition is being carried out under the patronage of the Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev. The initiative is financed by the priority axis "Technical aid" of the OP "Transport" 2007-2013 with means from the European Fund for Regional Development. For additional information:
