The Preparation of the Work Project for Danube Bridge 2 on the Final Stage 24.03.2008
Large size

The actual work on the building of the second bridge in the Bulgarian-Rumanian sector over the Danube River will start after the final preparation of the working project for the facility and its approval by the engineer.

The executor of the project has already worked out the plan for the projecting quality and the criteria for the projecting of the bridge facility. The documentation has been introduced for approval to the engineer - the consortium "Ingerop" and "High-Point Rendel". The active work on the finalization of the technical project of the bridge is also in progress.

The engineer has already coordinated the hydraulic model of the bridge, which is a key factor regarding the safety and the security of the facility.

The construction of the "the builders village" and the building site laboratory has been finished at the beginning of March. The telecommunications, electricity and water supply have been also ensured.

A new transport-logistic center will guarantee the maintenance and the exploitation of the facility. The future information center will be situated also in the same building. The construction of that edifice continues and it will be ready for use in October 2008.
