The Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev is participating in the session of the EU Council "Transport, Telecommunications and Energy". It is taking place today in Luxemburg.

During the meeting the participants are discussing topics of mutual interest in the field of automobile, railway and the sea transport, as well as in the field of the air transport.

The proposal for common rules of the European Parliament and EU Council for access to the European market of automobile freight transportation is being discussed in the field of the automobile transport. The common rules for practicing the profession - automobile carrier and the common rules for access to the market of Bus services are also being debated.

The suggestion for EU Parliament and Council Directive in the field of the navigation, for observation of the requirements for the flag administration, as well as the changed proposal for Directive of the EU Parliament and the Council regarding the civil responsibility and the financial guaranties of the ship-owners are also matter of discussion on the session.

The possibility for creation of integrated domestic market in the field of the road transportation, the domestic waterways and sea transport between the countries from the West Balkans and the European Union is being also discussed on the meeting.
