The Third Stage of the Campaign “Safe the Child” Finished 16.09.2008

The third stage of the campaign "Safe Child", initiated by the Association of the Car Importers, finished. It was accomplished with support of the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry if Interior Unit "Traffic Police", financed by "LEV INS" insurance company. The project has been initiated as a support of the goals and the measures based in the European Charter for Road Safety. It includes the installation of road-signs in the surrounding area of schools and kindergarten situated near crossroads and streets with heavy traffic and high concentration of road accidents.

The Deputy Minister of Transport Krasimira Martinova attended the concluding conference, where the results from the campaign "Safe Child" have been presented.

Deputy Minister Martinova emphasized the safety and the security of the campaign "Safe Child" as a main priority of the activities of the Ministry of Transport. The problem with the road safety would be eliminated only with activities in all sectors, which supports the achievement of the national goals, said Deputy Minister Martinova.
