On Monday, the 6 October 2008, in the Ministry of Transport (9, Dyakon Ignatiy Str., Sofia) will be organized the OPEN DAY for the Operational Programme on Transport 2007-2013. The aim of the initiative is to explain in details, for those citizens who wish, the Operational Programme, its goals and priorities, as well as the projects, expected to be financed. Operational Programme on Transport 2007-2013 will be presented by the Minister of Transport Mr. Peter Mutafchiev and by the Managing Authority of the Program. Because of the limited capacity of the Conference room, citizens entering will be organized in five groups (50 persons each). Guests will be invited in the foyer of the Ministry of Transport by the entrance from Gurko Street. The visits will be arranged according to the following time schedule: 09:00 - 10:30 - Visitors Group І 10:30 - 12:00 - Visitors Group ІІ 13:00 - 14:30 - Visitors Group ІІІ 14:30 - 16:00 - Visitors Group ІV 16:00 - 17:30 - Visitors Group V The registration for participation in the Open Day will be made in the period of 30 September- 3 October 2008, between 10:00 and 16:00 o'clock on the telephone + 3592 940 9555 and e-mail optransport@mt.government.bg The Registration will be according the order of the phone calls, and the citizens will have a chance to ask questions in advance. The Operational Programme on Transport 2007-2013 is one of the seven Operational Programmes of the Republic of Bulgaria, financed by the EU Structural Funds and Cohesion Fund. This is the Operational Programme with the largest budget in Bulgaria Euro 2 003 481 163.68. The goal of OP Transport is development of railway, road and waterway infrastructure, as well as stimulation of development of inetermodallity in accordance with the transport policy of the European Union and the established requirements for development of the Trans-European transport network in order to achieve stability of the Bulgarian transport system.
