The third session of the mixed intergovernmental Bulgarian - Venezuelan commission for commercial, economic, industrial, scientific - technical and cultural cooperation will take place on December 1 - 2, 2008 in Sofia. From Bulgarian side co-chairman of the commission is the Deputy - Minister of Transport Daniela Gospodinova. The Venezuelan delegation is leaded by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivar Republic of Venezuela Alexandro Fleming Cabrera. The session will be opened on Monday, December 1, 2008 at 8.45 o'clock, in the Ministry of Transport by the both ministers. An agreement in the field of tourism, between Bulgaria and Venezuela will be signed then. The session will conclude its work on Tuesday, December 2, 2008, at 12 o'clock with the signing of a protocol. Within the mainframe of the session the possibilities for widening of the bilateral cooperation in the following fields will be discussed - transport, tourism, agriculture, health, justice, education, scientific - technical cooperation, culture and IT. Workgroups for discussion of concrete ideas regarding the acceleration of the bilateral cooperation will be created. In the field of transport the two countries will discuss the perspectives for the development of the Bulgarian - Venezuelan public transportation ports, aiming to open new possibilities for the initiation of cooperation in that field. Negotiations for the preparation of Maritime Commercial Shipping Agreement will also take place.
