At the Insistence of Minister Mutafchiev the Turkish Side Removed the Restrictions Imposed on Bulgarian Carriers 02.12.2008

The Turkish side removed the restrictions imposed on Bulgarian carriers. This happened at the insistence of the Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev to his Turkish Colleague Binali Yildirim.

The Bulgarian carriers will be able to accomplish bilateral transportations without paying fees. Also removed was the restriction for Bulgarian automobiles with ecology stage under Euro 1 (the so cold conventional or black automobiles) to enter the territory of Turkey.

The both ministers agreed that all bilateral transportations shell be accomplished across the territory of the two countries with the payment of a fee in amount of 43 Euro. Till now the half of the annual contingent of licenses for transit transportations has been given after the payment of a fee in amount of 83 Euro.
