The Second Bulgarian – Iranian Committee on Transport Finished 15.01.2009

  The second Bulgarian - Iranian Committee on Transport finished its work in the Ministry of transport.  

 Chairman of the Bulgarian part of the Mixed Committee is Yodjel Attila - Deputy Minister of Transport of Bulgaria. From Iranian side Co-Chairman is Sayed Mahdi Hashemi - first Deputy Minister of Roads and Transport.

Expert meetings on automobile- , sea- and air transport were carried out during the session; also discussed were all questions of the bilateral cooperation.

The possibilities for the start of autobus line Sofia - Teheran - Sofia were considered, as well as the perspectives for the development of the cooperation in the field of maritime transport.

 The representatives of BDZ EAD and the Iranian Railways discussed the possibilities for increase of the freight transportations between the two countries.

Within the mainframe of the sitting Sayed Mahdi Hashemi held a meeting with the Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev. The both sides declared their willingness for the development of the relations in the field of transport.
