The Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev will be patron of the scientific - practical conference aiming to present the EU Green Paper on Urban Mobility "Towards a New Culture for Urban Mobility". The Event will take place tomorrow, February 18, 2009, at 10 a.m. in Vitosha Hall of Inter Expo Center - Sofia. The main accent of the conference will be the congestions in the big cities and the urban transport. The European strategy for urban mobility, the stable urban mobility challenges, as well as the development of the railway mass transportation as backbone of the urban mobility will be discussed on the meeting. The experience and the good European practices of many European countries will be also presented during the event. The Deputy Minister of Transport Krasimira Martinova will attend the conference, as well as deputy mayors of municipalities, the Chief Architect of Sofia Peter Dikov and the Secretary of the State-Public Commission on Traffic Safety Aleksey Kesyakov.
