The Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev inaugurated the new waiting-room of railway station Kermen, district Sliven. The Director - Executive of National Company "Railway Infrastructure" Anton Ginev and the Mayors of Kermen and Sliven Yordan Leckov and Nikolay Kolev attended the ceremony. The railway station in Kermen is the first wholly rebuilt during the last 20 years. In his expose Minister Mutafchiev declared that NC "Railway Infrastructure" has invested 580 000 levs in the construction of the building. The Minister said also, the new station will improve the railway road, as well as the railway station facilities, which are important part of the service given to the railway customers. After the inauguration ceremony Minister Mutafchiev declared that in April the first device for observation and control of the rolling stocks will be installed between the railway stations Zimnitsa and Straldja. The system will be granted by ÖBB - Infrastruktur Betrieb AG (Austrian Federal Railways - Infrastruktur Exploitation). Electronic system will accomplish the measurements data processing and send the results, as well as the alarm signals to the neighborhood railway stations in emergency cases, in order to stop the trains. NC "Railway Infrastructure plans to install such devices also in the railway sector Kalotina - Dragoman and in the railway segment Dimitrovgrad - Svilengrad. For additional information:
