Minister Mutafchiev Had a Meeting with ABA 27.03.2009

The Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev carried out a meeting with representatives of the Association of the Bulgarian Air Companies (ABA).

The meeting took place on the occasion of the measures, which the government is taking, in order to surmount the problems arising from the financial crisis, as well as its impact on the aviation and tourism.  

ABA presented its report for the results from the passengers' traffic from/to Bulgaria on regular and charter flights for 2008. On the meeting were also discussed in detail the questions connected with the regular and charter flights to the three main international airports - Sofia, Varna, Burgas.  

Minister Mutafchiev assured the air companies that the government will make efforts preserve favourable conditions for business, as well as more to attract more customers, under strict observation of the terms of safety and security.
