Aleksandar Tsvetkov “Took the Baton” from Peter Mutafchiev 27.07.2009

The former Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev "passed the baton" to his successor Aleksandar Tsvetkov on an official ceremony in the Ministry of Transport. Peter Mutafchiev wished success to his colleague and undertook a commitment to help him in cases of necessity.

The new Minster of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Aleksandar Tsvetkov declared that he has set high goals and hopes to achieve them. As main priority he pointed out the regaining to 100% the confidence of Brussels, the realization of the EU programs and projects, adequate activities under circumstances of crisis, as well as the support of the business under these conditions.

During the ceremony Peter Mutafchiev gave as a present a baton with the Bulgarian Tricolor to the new minister Aleksandar Tsvetkov as a symbol of the transmission of a joint mission. Then he presented to him the directors of directorates and executive agencies of the transport system and communications.
