MTITC Will Make Substantial Amendments in the Postal Services Bill 19.08.2009

The Council of Ministers accepted today the Resolution proposed by the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Aleksandar Tsvetkov for withdrawal of the Bill, which has been submitted to the national Assembly.

This resolution withdraws The Bill on postal services - № 902-01-1 from July 23, 2009. Substantial amendments are foreseen to be accomplished, connected mainly wit the functional and structural transition of the activity on information technology and communications to the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications.  The Ministry has taken steps in this direction.

The Bill submitted to the national Assembly has been not discussed by the standing commission on transport, information technologies and communications. The debate of the law at first reading is not started yet.
