Deputy Minister Kamen Kichev Met Branch Organizations from the Maritime Transport 24.09.2009

Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Kamen Kichev met today representatives of the branch organizations in the field of maritime transport.

During the talks the participants presented the problems and their views regarding better functioning of the branch. An agreement for regular meetings with the branch was reached. The branch representatives declared their readiness to cooperate actively with the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications.

The creation of workgroups, which to point out the actual problems and the possible solutions in the branch was also subject of the agreement.  For maximum utility and purposefulness in the common action the suggestion of the Deputy Minister Kichev for three workgroups was accepted, namely - for the maritime transport, river transportation, and a workgroup for the ports. Direct dialogue with the social partners is also expected.

The meetings carried out are an evidence for the open policy, leaded by MTITC and the willingness for closely cooperation with the branch organizations. Deputy Minister Kamen Kichev convinced the participant of the meeting that all projects for legislative changes will be discussed and coordinated with the organizations from the maritime branch.
