 The Campaign Ordered by Minister Tsvetkov in Action

The intensive inspections ordered by the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Aleksandar Tsvetkov in the field of automobile transport continue. The activities of Automobile administration teams are part of the measures taken in the battle against the grey economy in the sector.

In the period 14-27 September EA "Automobile Administration" accomplished control upon 2306 vehicles with foreign registration. The inspectors have inspected the drivers for observation of the rules for accomplishing of international transportation of passengers and freights, as well as the observation of the rules for driving time and breaks. 135 acts and punitive enactments have been drawn up, as well as compulsory administrative measures. Till now, the gathered actual financial means are almost 120 000 Leva.

Most violations are committed by drivers of vehicles with Turkish registration - 57; the drivers from Rumania are 21, Hungary -7, Greece -3 and others 42 acts.

Another object of inspections is the transportation on own account. To 4 289 vehicles are issued 441 acts. Forthcoming is the issuing of punitive enactments and their dispatch to the State Receivables Collection Agency for compulsory collection of penalties.
