The Bulgarian and the Turkish Minister of Transport Carried out Bilateral Meeting in Istanbul The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Aleksandar Tsvetkov attended the meeting of the transport ministers from Europe and Asia, which took place on September 28th within the 10th transport forum of Turkey. The topic of the forum was the vision of the countries from the two continents for the future of the transport policy. In his speech to the prestigious forum Tsvetkov Minister outlined the vision and the main objectives of the strategy of our country regarding the development of the transport sector and presented to his colleagues some important projects from OP "Transport". Within the mainframe of the forum Minister Tsvetkov carried out bilateral meeting with his Turkish colleague Binali Yildirim, Minister of Transport and Communications of Turkey. Some questions and unsolved problems in the field of our bilateral transport connections have been discussed during the conversation. The both ministers agreed to carry out very soon a session of the mixed commission on transport and expressed their willingness to develop more actively the cooperation in the field of maritime transport, especially the ferryboat connections, as well as the railway transportations and the infrastructure. Expressed was also the mutual willingness for searching for joint resolve of all problems. As neighbour countries Bulgaria and Turkey are called to search for pragmatic approaches and mutually beneficial solutions to problems in the spirit of traditional cooperation and friendship between the two countries and peoples.
