Large size
The Advisory Council for Information Technology and E-government will create rules and regulations on the selection and execution of projects connected with the introduction of information technology (IT) in the administration. This decision was made by the Council led by Deputy Minister Parvan Rusinov during its second session.

Companies from the IT field are willing to assist MTITC with technical and financial support in order to create a register to classify the projects according to the standards of the Advisory Council, mentioned Georgi Brashnarov, the Chairman of the Bulgarian Association of Software Companies BASSKOM. Participants of the session also said that the private sector will benefit from the transparency of the public order process. They all agreed that only the Council of Ministers can request from the administration the use of this register, controlled by the Advisory Council.

MTITC will create four workforce groups which will develop the regulations for IT projects, the execution schedule of the Strategy for Broadband Access and the Strategy for E-government which will include health, education and other fields as well as a strategy for IT development. The participants of this session expressed their readiness to assist with the work of these groups.
