The International Train Serving the Line Moscow – Sofia Was Derailed. No Casualties Were Reported. 08.02.2010

The international train serving the line Moscow-Sofia was derailed around 9, 48 a.m. near the Kurilo train station. Four cars got off tracks. Three were Bulgarian and one - Russian. There are no casualties.

 

"Passenger Services" created the organization necessary for the transportation of the 49 train passengers to the nearest train station and then to Central Train Station Sofia.

 

A team of experts on the safety of train transportation and representatives from transport police are looking into the cause of the accident.

 

Minister Aleksandar Tsvetkov arrived at the location.
