Internet, Information Security and E-Government Were the Main Topics Discussed during the Bulgarian – Korean Committee Meeting for Cooperation in the ICT 26.02.2010

National policies and best practices in the areas of Internet, information security and e-Government were discussed during the Second Session of the Bulgarian-Korean Committee for Cooperation in the information and communication technologies. Co-chairman from the Bulgarian side was the Deputy Minister Parvan Rusinov and from the Korean side – the Vice Minister of Public Administration and Security, Jung-Hyup Kang.

 

The two delegations exchanged expert opinions related to the standards of content for the electronic education and the technologies for disadvantaged people.

 

The Bulgarian-Korean Committee was created as a result of the discussions during the official visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea in Sofia in June 2006. The first session was conducted in November 2007. The main goal of the Committee is the bilateral cooperation as well as the separate projects between nongovernmental organizations, scientific communities and the private sector.
