Deputy Minister Ivaylo Moskovski Participated in a Conference on the Topic of “Management and Development of Strategic Infrastructure” 31.03.2010

The Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski participated today in a conference on the topic of “Management and development of strategic infrastructure”. Within the framework of his presentation he introduced the audience to the priorities and execution of Operational Programme “Transport”. 

In 2008, 12 contracts were signed within the Programme to the total value of 4 269 297,31 euros, while in 2009 the signed contracts were 24 to the total value of 231 087 652,07 euros. Thanks to the hard work of all Ministry employees, for the first six months of 2010 application forms are expected to be prepared and submitted to the total value of about 1 billion euros, said Deputy Minister Moskovski. Among them are: design of the railway line Vidin–Sofia; modernization of the railway line Sofia-Plovdiv; rehabilitation of the railway infrastructure along the railway line Plovdiv–Bourgas; the completion of Trakia Motorway; construction of intermodal terminal in Sofia.          

Ivaylo Moskovski introduced the participants in the conference to every project part of Operational Programme “Transport” and expressed the hope that the good dialogue between the institutions and the hard work will soon take effect
