Freight Train Hits Taxi 15.04.2010

Today, at around 11:30 between the Chintulovo and Sliven stations freight train hit a taxi at a railroad crossing.

Despite the working warning lights and barrier at the railroad crossing the driver decided to risk crossing. 

As a result, the driver and one of his passengers were killed. The second passenger was taken to Sliven Hospital with injuries. 

A commission consisting of representatives of Transport police, MTITC and National Railway Infrastructure Company was formed to investigate the accident.
