The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications attended the official ceremony marking the 40th anniversary of Lufthansa Bulgaria. The event was held at Sofia Airport where the crew dressed in retro Lufthansa uniforms met the passengers of flight LH 3484 arriving from Frankfurt.
During the event Minister Tsvetkov said that for 40 years Lufthansa has become one of the leading airline carriers operating in Bulgaria. Lufthansa has made considerable investments to the total amount of 20 million leva in its company for maintenance of aircrafts - Lufthansa Technic, located at Sofia Airport. Lufthansa Technic is the only company in the Balkans where Airbus and Boeing crafts can be repaired, added Aleksandar Tsvetkov.
At the end of the ceremony the Minister bestowed on Lufthansa’s general manager for Central Europe Tamur Goudarzi-Pour an album with pictures from the fist Lufthansa flight in the country.
