The Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Mr. Kamen Kitchev had a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Mr. Valery Okulov. The talks were conducted on 21-22 June 2010 in Moscow.

As a result of the meeting, the Russian side undertook to guarantee the execution of the whole planned flying summer schedule of Bulgaria Air to Russia for this summer season. Up until now, every announced flight of Bulgaria air was individually approved from the Russian aviation authorities.

During the talks, both sides made an agreement a future meeting to be held in October this year, where the flights between Bulgaria and Russia for the next season will be particularized. The two Deputy Ministers came to an agreement such meetings between the two sides to be held regularly in view of the fact that the last one was in 2008.

After the meeting Deputy Minister Kamen Kichev said that the talks have been extremely friendly for the advancement of the aviation connections between Bulgaria and Russia and expressed confidence that in the future the good relations between the aviation services will continue.
