As of tomorrow, by order of the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Aleksandar Tsvetkov, as a new executive director of Sofia airport will be appointed Asen Tanchev. The major priority of the new CEO will be the application of the new ideas and approaches in the management of Sofia Airport, which should lead to increased economic performance.
Asen Tanchev started work at the Coordination Center of Sofia Airport in 1977. From 1996 he held leading management positions at private air companies. From 2006 to 2010 he held the position of the head of the Transfer Coordination Department and the Center for Information and Coordination.
Asen Tanchev has an economic degree in Marketing and Economic management. He has attained professional qualification in civil aviation from different European institutes and air companies.
