The International Philatelic Exhibition Balkanfila 2010 was Launched under the Patronage of Minister Tsvetkov 28.10.2010

Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Parvan Rusinov opened the fifteenth International Philatelic Exhibition Balkanfila 2010. The Exhibition is under the patronage of Minister Alexandar Tsvetkov.

"Balkanfila" is the oldest regional philatelic exhibition in the philatelic history. The first exhibition was held in 1965 in Sofia. Today Bulgaria is hosting a regional philatelic expo for the fourth time, said the Deputy Minister.

Two mail-philatelic editions were put into circulation on the first day of the exhibition. The first of these is a set of 4 stamps on the theme "Fauna - Pandi" and is printed in 17,000 copies. Artist of the projects is Hristo Alexiev. The second edition is a postal card "Day of the International Philatelic Exhibition BALKANFILA 2010.  The Circulation is 1280 pcs. The artist is Nenko Atanasov.
