Minister Tsvetkov put the postal services on red alert 05.11.2010

The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Alexandar Tsvetkov announced the highest security level - code red in the control and processing of mail. The Minister ordered that all parcels should go through the scanner and through a physical examination. Alexandar Tsvetkov inspected on the spot the additional security measures in the sorting center of "Bulgarian Posts". The control is mandatory both for the state and private operators. All companies in the sector are required by the Postal Services Act to ensure the security of correspondence.

Today is the first case of a bomb warning in a letter to the Israeli Embassy. The case is being checked. Currently there are no grounds for concern said Minister Tsvetkov.
