Deputy Defence Minister Avgustina Tsvetkova and Deputy Minister of Transport, Information technology and Communications Parvan Rusinov validated mail-philatelic edition entitled "60 Years of Bulgarian military aviation”. Postage stamps depict three fighters who are symbols of our military aircraft - the MiG 15, MiG 23 and Yak 29.
The theme of combat aircraft is traditional for the Bulgarian stamp publishing, said during the ceremony Deputy Minister Rusinov. From 2007 to 2009 were issued a total of 6 stamps “History of military aviation”
Today's edition contains three stamps, illustrated envelope and a special stamp. Postage stamps are of nominal value 0.65 lv, 0.50 lv. and 1.00 lv. They are printed in circulation of 20 000. The illustrated envelope is printed in a circulation of 4185. Author of the projects is the famous Bulgarian artist Prof. Todor Vardjiev.
