Automobile Administration examines the public transport 06.12.2010

Executive Agency Automobile Administration is examining the buses and trolley buses serving lines of the public transport throughout Bulgaria. These actions were taken in order to be increased the control and roadworthiness of the vehicles before the winter season.

Since the beginning of the inspection on 22 November 2010 to date have been examined a total of 822 buses and 200 trolleybuses. Drawn were 5 acts - one for a trolleybus in Plovdiv, one for a bus in Stara Zagora and three acts for buses in Sofia for worn tires and a cracked glass. The control is still ongoing.


During the inspections Automobile administration is looking for the following irregularities:

    * Break system
    * Exhaust pipes;
    * Opacity and exhaust;
    * Integrity and transparency of the review windows;
    * Steering;
    * Lights;
    * Wheels and tires;
    * Suspension;
    * Chassis;
    * Leakage of fuel and / or oil;
    * Passed periodic technical inspection.
