The Bulgarian consumers, business and public organizations can participate in two public polls of the European Commission devoted to roaming services and an introduction of a single business phone number in the EU.
The survey about the roaming has for an object to gather opinions how to achieve leveling of the prices of international calls and calls within the country. Since 2007, the European Commission has set marginal costs in several stages for roaming calls as well as for text messages and data transfer.
The goal is to encourage the competition in roaming services while protecting the interests of the European consumers and companies. The survey will continue until February 11, 2011. The questionnaire is available at:

The European Commission announced a survey for the introduction of a single telephone number for the businesses in the European Union. It will allow European companies to offer easier cross-border sales and warranty service. The poll will help the Commission to estimate how much the demand on the market for such European business phone numbers is. One of the options is the introduction of a common short number (for example beginning with 115) which will be reserved for the companies.Other possibility is to encourage the adoption of a European telephone access code (3883). The telephone numbers of the companies could be composed of 3883 and a number, which will be the same in all countries in the EU.
The survey will continue until February 28, 2011. The document is available at
