The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, Aleksandar Tsvetkov met with the Brazilian Minister of Transportation Paulo Sérgio Passos. During the talks possibilities for developing bilateral relations in the field of railway transport were discussed.

It is expected the Republic of Bulgaria and the Federative Republic of Brazil to sign a Memorandum for Cooperation in the IT sector.

Minister Tsvetkov attended the inauguration ceremony of the new Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff.

47 high standing foreign guests will attend the ceremony, among them the United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the President of Venezuela Hugo Chávez and the Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.
