Executive Agency "Automobile Administration" performed a preventive control during the New Year holidays. The accent of the control was the performance of a public transport and taxis as well as the situation of bus stations, the regularity of the road papers, the issue of luggage receipts, the condition of the tyres and the overall technical status of the automobiles.

During the period of the control – from December 31, 2010 to January 2, 2011, the inspectors have checked 1 650 automobiles. 650 of these are taxi automobiles, 700 are buses and 330 are trucks.

32 acts were imposed because of committed violations – 13 of them were imposed on taxis, 10 on buses and 9 on trucks.

More typical violations that were found during the transportation of passengers and goods are:

  • in the use of the tachograph (the lack of tachograph paper or non-replete tachograph paper;
  • about the technical repair of the automobiles (unrealized technical examination);
  • without itinerary timetable;
  • luggage receipts that were not issued;
  • without a certificate for taxi driver, without a licence by the municipality for taxi service.
