Social kitchens for retired employees from the system of the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications open on Monday, January, 24, 2011.

The initiative is organized for first year and is under the patronage of the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, Aleksandar Tsvetkov.

The project is financed by the Bulgarian Air Traffic Services Authority (BULATSA) and will be realized at first in the cities of Sofia, Varna, Burgas, Plovdiv and Yamnol with the assistance of the respective Municipal Social Services.

The kitchens will work in the workdays during the winter season. The kitchens will provide lunch meals, including – soup, dish, dessert, bread and mineral water/soft drink. At the moment in the kitchens will feed 240 people and the registration continues.

The soup-kitchen in Sofia will open from 13.00 to 15.00 and is located in a quarter “Ivan Vazov”, № 62А, Petko Karavelov str.

The soup-kitchen in Yambol will open from 12.00 to 13.00 and is located in Pizza “Medich”, Targovska str.

The soup-kitchen in Plovdiv will open from 12.00 to 14.00 and is located in 16A, Zvezda str. – Home Social Patronage.

The soup-kitchen in Varna will open from 13.00 to 14.00 and is located in 1, Bregalnitza str.

The soup-kitchen in Bourgas will open from 12.00 to 13.00 and is located in 95, Oborishte str.
