The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Aleksandar Tsvetkov personally verified the quality of the offered taxi service in the city of Bansko.

During the inspection Minister Tsvetkov chose an overbearing car and used taxi transport in the city. The documents of the taxi car were immaculate and was issued receipt for the service.
Minister Aleksandar Tsvetkov commented that it is necessary to be introduced minimum quality standard of taxi automobiles. In such a way will be ensured better comfort for customers.

The inspections of taxi cars accomplished by the Executive Agency “Automobile Administration” in the city of Bansko will continue. The aim of the official examination is to be prevented frauds and abuses with customers during the Skiing World Cup in the city.

The inspectors of “Automobile Administration” will check for:

• Devices for management of taximeter;
• Accordance between the declared price and the price printed on the fiscal receipt;
• Certificate for taxi driver;
• Permission for accomplishment of taxi transport;
• Other violations in the technical repair of the vehicles as well as the regularity of the driver’s documents.
