The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Aleksandar Tsvetkov inaugurated today two computer rooms in the high school in railway transport “Nikola Korchev”, Sofia.
In both rooms the students will prepare themselves on professional programs for drawing of constructions and for control of train through an electronic simulation. The equipment in the halls is by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Science and by donation.
Minister Tsvetkov welcomed the students with the words: “We undertook an engagement to develop the Bulgarian Railways and to transform the railways in a stable and modern company but without competent staff this can not happen. I believe that after a few years you will be among the first that will start their career in a stable and modern railway. Together we will prepare a strategy for development of the railway sector.
I am convinced that when you finish, the profession of railway-men will be more attractive and more perspective, added Minister Tsvetkov.
The director of the school Eng. Yordanka Stancheva said that Minister Tsvetkoov is the first Minister of Transport who visited the school from its creation before 46 years. The professional school has prepared over 1000 specialist in the area of railway transport. The students gave Minister Tsvetkov Martenitsa and a collage with his photo.
