The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Aleksandar Tsvetkov met а Chinese business delegation that is on a visit in Bulgaria.
Minister Tsvetkov and the representatives of the biggest Chinese company for production of locomotives and carriages “CSR” visited the locomotive depot in Poduene, where they acquainted with its production possibilities.
The interest of the Chinese investors demonstrates that Bulgaria is among the best places for investment in Europe, said Aleksandar Tsvetkov. Our country offers some of the lowest taxes and is part of the European market. That was a main accent in the conversations during my visit in China, added the Minister.
For us is important to have an investor in the area of the railway transport because that will make the reform in the sector more effective, added Minister Tsvetkov.
The visit is a result of the negotiated collaboration between both countries in the area of the railway transport during the visit of Aleksandar Tsvetkov in China.
Except the locomotive depot in Poduene the Chinese delegation will visit the factory for carriage repairs in the city of Septemvri and will acquaint with the possibilities of the technology capacity of State Enterprise "Transport Construction and Rehabilitation" for repairs and new construction of railway infrastructure objects as well as repairs of road construction and railway mechanization. |
