The Bulgarian sailors are part of the equipage of seven merchant ships flying under Libyan flag. At the moment all vessels are on roadstead at the port of Tripoli.

Executive Agency “Maritime Administration” has notified the Bulgarian ship owners not to send vessels near the coast of Libya. In the beginning of the seditions was made inquire that showed that in that region there were not Bulgarian ships. It was addressed an inquiry to all moderator companies whether there were Bulgarian sailors in the region. Up to now there is not information about other sailors there. The opinion of the experts is that the current situation will not reduce the ship traffic in the Mediterranean. As a whole the traffic will move to the north.
