The projects for rapid Internet access in the poorly developed regions of the country are about to start, said the Deputy-Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Parvan Rusinov at the opening of the 8th regional conference “Telecommunications and media – technologies and business overflow”. The consultations with the European Commission about the way that would be realized the procedure have already finished. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food will start a procedure for before investment investigation of the Rural Development Program aims. The results will help us in the project for the broadband access.

During this year is planned the implementation of an open procedure for assignment of public tender for designing and building of regional networks, that will provide rapid Internet access in nineteen preliminary chosen remote and sparsely populated areas.

In parallel to the investment project, in these settlements will be organized an information campaign for popularizing the advantages of Internet and the e-services. In this way will be increased the effectiveness of the planned investment, said in conclusion the Deputy-Minister Rusinov.
